Historic Serie 1 is the first African NFT stamp collection, dropped on 1 February 2022 by La Poste de Côte d'Ivoire on the Stampsdaq marketplace — the launch collection of the platform itself. It digitises 6 historic stamps: the three traditional masks of the 2005 issue (Masque Dan, Masque Zamble, Masque De Gu) and the Elephant of 1959, the first stamp of independent Côte d'Ivoire, in 3 denominations. Each design exists in 5 rarity tiers (Common 10,000, Rare 1,000, Super Rare 100, Ultra Rare 10, Unique 1 = 11,111 per design). The NFTs were sold in packs of 6 (11,111 packs, 24 MATIC per pack) on Polygon.

The first African NFT stamp collection and the launch collection of the Stampsdaq marketplace. La Poste de Côte d'Ivoire digitised the three traditional masks of its 2005 issue (Masque Dan, Masque Zamble, Masque De Gu) and the Elephant of 1959, the first stamp of independent Côte d'Ivoire. Buyers purchased packs of 6 NFTs whose rarity was revealed on opening; payment was possible in crypto or fiat via Stripe.
Curator note: the pack count and the 24 MATIC price come from crypto-stamps.org only. The total of 66,666 NFTs is arithmetic (6 designs × 11,111) from the published tier structure, not a published figure. The 2022 press release mentions the drop on 1 February and the tier structure but no price.
