Österreichische Post released the Crypto stamp Aurora Sparks on 2 May 2025, as the first character in its Comic Characters series on Crypto stamp Island. This luminous unicorn debuted alongside the ghost-doge Kabosu and opened the expanding narrative universe that would grow to include Raka, Bambu and Cassius. The edition was limited to 7,500 copies and sold for €9.90, continuing the post's pioneering work in blockchain-based philately that began in 2019.

The Aurora Sparks character is celebrated for having the most beautiful eyelashes on all of Crypto stamp Island, though her true superpower is the powerful force fields she can generate. As the opening entry, she establishes the thematic world-building that later Comic Characters issues would deepen. Unlike earlier Austrian crypto stamps that featured animals or abstract symbols, this series develops an interconnected narrative set on a fictional "Crypto stamp Island," with each character release adding depth to the collective story.
