Vienna landmarks / City of Music
Österreichische Post (Austrian Post) issued the *Crypto stamp Vienna – City of Music* on 16 April 2026 as a tribute to Vienna's musical heritage. Designed by artist Lisa Filzi, the edition hides five iconic Vienna landmark designs — the Danube Tower, the DC Tower, the Riesenrad (Giant Ferris Wheel), a Highrise skyline, and St. Stephen's Cathedral — each revealed through the crypto stamp's unlock mechanic. With a total mint of 15,000 pieces at €11.35, the stamp pairs a physical collectible with an NFT on the Polygon blockchain. Its artwork carries lovingly crafted nods to Austria's musical icons, from Udo Jürgens to Conchita Wurst and Eurovision winner JJ.

Vienna – City of Music
Österreichische Post issued the Crypto stamp Vienna – City of Music on 16 April 2026 as a tribute to Vienna's musical heritage. Designed by artist Lisa Filzi and printed by Variuscard in Vienna, the edition unlocks five iconic Vienna landmark designs. With a total mint of 15,000 pieces at a retail price of €11.35, this stamp continues Austrian Post's blockchain-based philatelic program that began in 2019, pairing a physical collectible with an NFT on the Polygon blockchain.
Unlike Austrian Post's classic colour-variant releases, the City of Music variants are five Vienna landmark designs revealed through the crypto stamp's unlock mechanic, with descending print runs: the Highrise (7,850 copies), the DC Tower (4,000 copies), the Danube Tower (2,000 copies), the Riesenrad / Giant Ferris Wheel (1,000 copies), and the rarest, St. Stephen's Cathedral (150 copies). As with earlier releases, rarer designs were distributed randomly, encouraging a secondary market among collectors.
As a tribute to Vienna as a City of Music, the artwork carries lovingly crafted nods to Austrian musical icons — from Udo Jürgens to Conchita Wurst and Eurovision winner JJ. The first-day issue was celebrated with a special post office at the Qwien association, Austria's first queer cultural centre. The stamp runs as an ERC-721 token on Polygon (contract 0x574B6632B7Ad8Ad602f72b57127A2DD6279e161f), letting collectors verify authenticity and design rarity through the associated digital certificate.
