Rimac Nevera: Performance Icon

Rimac Nevera is the fastest-accelerating homologated production hypercar worldwide:

  • Top speed: 412 km/h
  • Power: 1,914 hp (4 electric motors)
  • Torque: 2,360 Nm
  • 0-300 km/h: 9.3 seconds
  • 0-402 m: 8.6 seconds (quarter-mile record)
  • Drive: fully electric
  • Manufacturer: Rimac Automobili (Sveta Nedelja, Croatia)

The name "Nevera" means "Mediterranean storm with lightning" in Croatian — fitting symbolism for fully-electric high-performance.

Rimac Automobili — Croatian Tech Pride

Rimac Automobili, founded 2009 by Mate Rimac, is:

  • International Croatian hypercar manufacturer
  • Majority owner of Bugatti (since 2021, Bugatti Rimac joint venture)
  • Symbol of Croatian engineering excellence
  • Tech industry bridge to Web3 (via crypto stamp edition)

Pioneering Automotive Industry Partnership

CS3 is pioneering as the first automotive industry crypto stamp partnership:

  • Before: postal themes (CS1 Vehicles, CS2 Postal History)
  • Now: external industry partnership with Rimac Automobili
  • Sets a model for other issuers (e.g., AT with Olympics 2024, FR with artists)

This partnership logic continues in subsequent editions (CS4 Tesla with Marrow Labs).

Printer AKD d.o.o.

AKD d.o.o. (Agencija za komercijalnu djelatnost) is the Croatian state securities printer based in Zagreb:

  • Prints Croatian banknotes, passports, stamps
  • High-security print technology
  • Standard printer for official Croatian documents
  • Continuous HR Pošta crypto stamp partner

Tech Stack: Last Ethereum Edition

CS3 is the last HR edition on Ethereum mainnet — CS4 (Tesla, 2022) switches to Polygon. Strategic tech transition:

NodeFactory as new co-partner from CS3 is preparation for the Polygon switch in CS4.

Designer Danijel Palčić

Danijel Palčić is a Croatian illustrator with specialization in:

  • Automotive illustration (technical accuracy)
  • Motorsport visualization
  • Hypercar aesthetics

His participation gives CS3 professional automotive optics — hypercar is visually authentically depicted.

World Stamp Day 2021

9 September 2021 repeats the World Stamp Day pattern from CS1:

  • 2020: CS1 Vehicles on World Stamp Day
  • 2021: CS3 Rimac Nevera on World Stamp Day

Pattern consistency creates collector expectation: a new HR crypto stamp drop on 09.09 of each year. (However, not continued in 2022 — CS4 only comes in December 2022.)

Significance in the Wiki

This edition documents:

  1. First automotive industry partnership in the crypto stamp space
  2. Decreasing rarity color category system (gold→blue-green)
  3. Rimac Automobili as edition partner (tech industry bridge)
  4. NodeFactory as second tech co-partner (Polygon preparation)
  5. Last Ethereum mainnet edition of the HR family
  6. World Stamp Day marketing pattern repeated
  7. Croatian tech pride as theme (Rimac as national innovation icon)

CS3 is the technologically and strategically most important pre-2023 edition of the HR family.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is Rimac Automobili?

Rimac Automobili is a Croatian hypercar manufacturer, founded 2009 by Mate Rimac in Sveta Nedelja near Zagreb. The company specializes in fully-electric hypercars with extreme performance values. Known models include the Concept_One from 2011, the C_Two from 2018 (launched 2021 as Nevera), and the Nevera R from 2024. Rimac represents Croatian engineering excellence on an international level and took over the majority share in Bugatti in 2021 through the Bugatti Rimac joint venture. The company holds performance records including the fastest acceleration 0-300 km/h of all production vehicles. As edition partner, Rimac Automobili gives HR Crypto Stamp 3 international prominence and bridges to the tech industry.

What is NodeFactory and why a new tech co-partner?

NodeFactory is a Croatian blockchain engineering studio specializing in smart contract development, Web3 infrastructure, and DApp development. In CS3, NodeFactory is new tech co-partner in addition to Bitx. NodeFactory brings special blockchain scaling expertise that later becomes important for the CS4 Polygon switch. HR reduces single-vendor risk through the Bitx-NodeFactory dual partnership. NodeFactory also has experience with tech partnerships in the automotive industry and becomes the 2022 tech partner for the Polygon switch in CS4. CS3 is thus structurally the last Ethereum mainnet edition and simultaneously preparation for the Polygon future.
