NZ Post dropped its Year of the Horse digital stamps on VeVe on 17 February 2026, continuing the annual Lunar series after Dragon 2024 and Snake 2025. The physical stamps were issued on 14 January 2026, designed by YMC Design (Wellington) and printed by Brebner Print. The digital series comprises four stamps — $2.90 Lucky Peach (1,888 Uncommon), $4.20 Good Food, Good Fortune (1,238 Rare), $4.70 Giving and Receiving (1,288 Rare) and $7.60 Service is Success (588 Ultra Rare) — plus a craftable Year of the Horse Medallion (1,888 Uncommon, 0 Gems for holders of one series collectible) and a Miniature Sheet with all four stamps (288 Secret Rare). Total mintage 7,728 at 6.00 Gems per stamp. The designs tell Chinese-New Zealand stories: Jack Lum’s fruit shop in Remuera, Bev Moon’s knitted spring rolls, Cindy Huang’s lilies for the gold-rush miners and the Gock family’s kumara.
