Watercolor hot-air balloons by Andrzej Gosik — homage to Jan Potocki
Poczta Polska issued "In the Skies" on 9 November 2023, featuring watercolors by Polish artist Andrzej Gosik. Physical stamps followed in March 2024. The motif shows four surreal hot-air balloons honoring Jan Potocki, the first Pole to ascend in a balloon in 1790. The four balloon stamps follow a decreasing rarity system with official print runs of 7,000 / 5,000 / 3,000 / 2,000 (Balloon #1–#4); 300 of each sit on a Crypto Cover, leaving 6,700 / 4,700 / 2,700 / 1,700 loose tokens. The contract also holds the digital-only category 5 "Discover dreams" (3,000) and the Crypto Folder (2,000) — 22,000 tokens in total.
