Pos Indonesia (PT Pos Indonesia (Persero))
Pos Indonesia (PT Pos Indonesia (Persero)) is the state-owned postal operator of Indonesia, headquartered in Bandung. Its postal roots go back to the first post office in Batavia in 1746; the current company was formed in 1995. On 27 September 2024, the 79th Postal Service Day (Hari Bakti Postel), Pos Indonesia launched the first Indonesian NFT stamp, the Cenderawasih (bird of paradise) edition — a "twin stamp" with a physical booklet and an NFT on Polygon, claimed via the Dutch phygital platform Ciphers.me. Indonesia thus became the third Southeast Asian country with NFT stamps, after Thailand and Malaysia.

Model: Booklet plus Claimable NFT
The Cenderawasih edition follows a twin stamp model: a physical booklet (nominal value Rp 150,000, 3,000 made) carries a QR code and a unique code. Buyers claim the digital twin on Ciphers.me, where the NFT is minted on Polygon. Ciphers.me is the same platform used by Deutsche Post and Royal Joh. Enschedé, so Pos Indonesia adopted an existing European phygital stack rather than building its own.
