Eos is one of the two Austrian stamps of the 2026 four-country joint edition *Legends meet Crypto stamp – Horses and Heroes of Mythology* (Austria, Netherlands, Belgium, Portugal), scheduled for 24 September 2026. Eos is the Greek goddess of dawn; new for 2026, the mythological figures are accompanied by their horses. Österreichische Post issues 15,000 pieces at EUR 11.35 — up from the EUR 9.90 of Zeus and Hera (2025). Sister stamp: Perseus. Announced, not yet released as of 20 September 2026.

Eos, the Greek goddess of dawn, is one of the two Austrian motifs of the 2026 joint edition (the other is Perseus). Österreichische Post issues 15,000 pieces at EUR 11.35 — a price step up from the EUR 9.90 of Zeus and Hera in 2025. Sales are scheduled to start on 24 September 2026, the same day as the Dutch, Belgian and Portuguese partner stamps. New this year, every mythological figure is shown with a horse.

Curator note: announced, not yet released as of 2026-09-20. No official Austrian edition number (5.4 / 6 / 7) has been published, so the motif serves as the label. Designer, colour distribution and contract address are not yet published; the rarity split "is still to be announced" according to Crypto Insiders (2026-08-23).
