First crypto stamp of Deutsche Post's new series "Der Mensch als Entdecker" (The Human as Explorer), issued on 11 June 2026 and sixth German crypto stamp overall. The AI-generated motif (DALL-E; design Thomas Steinacker and Jan-Niklas Kröger, Bonn) shows the bathyscaphe Trieste, with which Jacques Piccard and Don Walsh reached about 10,916 m in the Mariana Trench in 1960. The booklet ships at random in a sealed envelope in one of four colours: Orange (25,000 / 50%), Green (17,500 / 35%), Blue (5,000 / 10%) and Pink (2,500 / 5%). Pink is the rarest.

Compared with the architecture series, the tiers were reworked: the pink share rose from 2% to 5% and the most common tier fell from 63% to 50%. According to the collector site Paketda, a 4-colour presentation pack (EUR 79.90, 500 pieces) and a pink special edition with hologram card (EUR 39.90, 500 pieces) absorb roughly 1,000 pink booklets before random sale.

The mintage of 50,000 and the sale price of EUR 9.90 stay the same, but the colour lottery was reworked: Orange 50%, Green 35%, Blue 10%, Pink 5% instead of Yellow 63%, Purple 25%, Blue 10%, Pink 2%. The rarest tier is thus more than twice as common as before. Colour choice at order time is still not possible, and opening the sealed envelope voids the right of withdrawal.
